A hand-drawn portrait for someone you love, ordered in advance and ready for Valentine’s Day. Just 10 spots. For the gays, the theys and everyone in between.
Give someone a hand-drawn portrait made just for them. Whether it’s a partner, best friend, chosen family member, pet, or yourself, I’ll turn your photo into a one-of-a-kind piece to wrap, frame, or keep.
Only 10 spots available: 9 in A5/A4 and 1 in A3.
Sizes and prices (50% deposit shown at checkout)
A5: £80 (deposit £40)
A4: £150 (deposit £75)
A3 (1 spot only): £300 (deposit £150)
Extras
Add an extra person, an animal, or a detailed background for £25 each (£35 each on A3). Tell me what you’d like in the additional information box, and I’ll confirm the total with you before I start.
Optional add-on: the chosen name portrait
Include a chosen name within the portrait. It makes a lovely gift for a friend’s rebirth, a new chapter, or a name that’s finally their own. Let me know the name and how you’d like it written. I can draw it on clothing, at the top or bottom, or in the background. We can work out the best placement on a case-by-case basis.
Reference photos
The better the photos, the better the portrait. Please send:
Good-quality, well-lit photos (natural daylight is ideal) with the face(s) clear, sharp and in focus
More than one photo if you can. Different angles and expressions help me capture what makes someone them
Everyone visible and unblurred if there’s more than one person, pet or detail you’d like included
How it works
Choose your size and pay the 50% deposit to secure your spot.
Send me your reference photo(s) and any details you’d like included.
Sign the contract
I start work in January and will send you a progress photo.
When it’s finished, I’ll invoice you for the remaining 50% (plus any extras), then post it to you.
Style
Black-and-white fine-liner, hand-drawn in ink. You can choose white or off-white paper, textured or plain. I can provide examples of both if you need more information to decide.
All drawings will be made on archival-grade paper and ink.
Good to know
Last order date: For an A4/A5 - 20th of January, for an A3 15th of January
Finished and posted by: 7th of February, in time for Valentine’s Day
Postage is added to your final balance invoice.
Deposits are non-refundable.
The original artwork is yours. I keep the copyright, and images are for personal use only.
You will be asked if you consent to the use of your images for marketing purposes. (This is completely optional)
